Good morning everyone! Sure, it might be around 2 pm, but we are wide awake. Now we are really getting ready to start our day. You have got to love the weekends!

Auntie Bebe loves her Niece! Also, Grandpa Bruce got to hold the baby for the first time. It was fun having you up here today. Your visits mean a lot to us and to Sofia. Looking forward to seeing lots of family next month.

Daddy's Home!

Almost everybody on my lap as soon as I get home. I just need to make a little room for Miriam, and maybe a bit more for the computer. Mellow time with the family is a great end to a long day.

Crying Games

Those sad eyes have seen a lot of tears in the last 24 hours. All night last night in fact, up until I left for work in the wee hours of the morning. Poor little baby has an upset stomach and we are hoping that some gripe water will prove to remedy. Nobody likes a a tummy ache, that is for certain! Hopefully we can all have some rest tonight!

Mom, Baby, and Puppy

A special thanks to him for being so patient with us during the whole labor process, and now for loving and protecting us and the baby. Our family would not be complete without him. Little baby in her crib after a diaper change. Either she needs some milk or she has some gas, or both I suppose. Bless her little heart, all she can do is eat sleep and poop! And love her family, of course.

Bath time bliss

This is our little girl after her bath yesterday. There is nothing like a bath and a feeding to put you to sleep for a long time. Even with all the ruckus from the playing puppies and socializing adults in our small cabin could not disturb her.
Thanks for the delicious mac and cheese from Kristine and Birch. And of course, thanks to Grandma Ana Miriam for babysitting so your daughter and I could go to the reggae show.

Baby loves her chair

Little Ana, two weeks old today, loves her little vibrating rocking chair. Thanks to Dave & Deb for the thoughtful gift. I think that she gets fussy now when she is not in the chair! Of course she still loves being in the arms of her family, especially mom, who is getting a bit of well needed rest.
